Dans cette d\u00e9finition g\u00e9n\u00e9rale, un large \u00e9ventail de mat\u00e9riaux peut \u00eatre inclus ainsi qu&#8217;une large gamme de propri\u00e9t\u00e9s et d&#8217;applications des mat\u00e9riaux.<\/p>\n<p>Cependant, la classification des mat\u00e9riaux fonctionnels est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement li\u00e9e aux mat\u00e9riaux dont la \u00ab fonction \u00bb est associ\u00e9e \u00e0 leurs propri\u00e9t\u00e9s \u00e9lectriques, magn\u00e9tiques et\/ou optiques. Ce groupe de mat\u00e9riaux fonctionnels comprend principalement les di\u00e9lectriques, les pyro\u00e9lectriques, les pi\u00e9zo\u00e9lectriques, les ferro\u00e9lectriques, les ferro\u00e9lectriques relaxeurs, les semi-conducteurs, les conducteurs ioniques, les supraconducteurs, l&#8217;\u00e9lectro-optique et les mat\u00e9riaux magn\u00e9tiques\u2026<\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;utilit\u00e9 des mat\u00e9riaux fonctionnels dans ces applications refl\u00e8te leurs propri\u00e9t\u00e9s uniques, telles que la polarisation spontan\u00e9e, la pi\u00e9zo\u00e9lectricit\u00e9, la supraconductivit\u00e9 et la magn\u00e9tor\u00e9sistance. Toutes ces propri\u00e9t\u00e9s d\u00e9pendent directement de la composition chimique, des singularit\u00e9s de la structure cristallographique et du proc\u00e9d\u00e9 de fabrication. La connaissance des relations entre composition, structure, traitement et propri\u00e9t\u00e9s permet la production de mat\u00e9riaux am\u00e9lior\u00e9s et performants pour des applications vis\u00e9es et connues.<\/p>\n<p>La conf\u00e9rence n&#8217;est pas \u00a0destin\u00e9e \u00e0 traiter tous les mat\u00e9riaux \u00a0fonctionnels, mais certains mat\u00e9riaux, technologiquement importants de nos jours. Dans cette perspective et en relation avec les applications finales, l&#8217;accent est mis sur quelques propri\u00e9t\u00e9s, telles que la pi\u00e9zo\u00e9lectricit\u00e9, la pyro\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 et la ferro\u00e9lectricit\u00e9, la famille de mat\u00e9riaux p\u00e9rovskite \u00a0(hybrides), leurs formulations et leur fabrication<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><b><span lang=\"EN-CA\">Biography<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Pr Farid ABDI obtained his doctorate from the University Paul Verlaine of Metz (France) in 1992, and received the Ph.D. degrees in Physics from Fez University in 1998. His research interests include materials synthesis and characterization, for dielectric, energy and Optical devices. He is managing the Signal Systems &amp; Components Laboratory (SSC) at the Faculty of Sciences &amp; Technology, Fez University, MOROCCO.
